trauma through a variety of services. Provides One-on-One Counselling via Zoom to men ages 18 and up for issues
such as depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma among other issues; fees are on a sliding scale. Priority is given to
men residing in BC. Men's Support Group offers online peer support for men ages 18 and up. Meetings are held 5:30
pm to 7:30 pm Wednesdays and 5 pm to 7 pm Thursdays. Serves Canada. Young Men's Support Group offers online
peer support for male youth ages 13 to 18. Meetings combine learning, fun, peer mentoring, and exercises to build
self-awareness. Meetings are held 7 pm to 8:30 pm Tuesdays. Email the program manager at

Group offers online support for men ages 18 and up who have experienced abuse or violence in their intimate
relationship. Meetings are held weekly for 13 weeks; intake is monthly. Serves Canada. The Legal Information
Clinic provides family law resources, tools, and information to assist with navigating the legal system for men ages 18
and up. Resources are provided in a group setting as well as one-on-one with a lawyer where circumstances allow.
Does not provide legal representation. Held from 5 pm to 6 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the

Provides treatment, support, education, and hope of recovery for people living with a mood disorder or other mental
illness, and their significant others. Also serves to build awareness and understanding in communities throughout the
province. Self-help support groups meet throughout BC, and include groups for families, youth, and individuals with
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or other mood or anxiety disorders; see website for meeting times and locations.
Also offers MDABC Speakers Bureau where individuals share their stories of hope and recovery; see website for
details. A Psychiatric Urgent Care Program provides psychiatric assessments with group follow-up care for adults and

Works to increase awareness of anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety
disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, separation anxiety disorder, and specific
phobias. Provides information and resources for individuals wanting to manage their own anxiety, including free online
resources and self-help toolkits for children, youth, adults, and parents. Produces DVDs for managing anxiety disorders
from a cognitive behavioural therapy approach. Also offers MindShift, a free app designed to help teens and young
adults cope with anxiety. It teaches how to relax, how to develop helpful ways of thinking, and how to identify active
steps that will help one take charge of their anxiety. It also includes strategies to deal with everyday anxiety, as well as
specific tools to tackle test anxiety, perfectionism, social anxiety, performance anxiety, worry, panic, and conflict. Office

devices from 6 pm to 10 pm. Provides public access to an online community resource database, and education
